Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Day Cash, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Day Cash is a cash flow forecasting tool. It projects your daily bank balance based on information you manually enter or sync from your financial institution. It is not a bank, financial advisor, or accounting service. Projections are estimates only — do not rely on them as financial advice.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Day Cash.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• One account per person. Do not share accounts.

4. Payment — Day Cash Pro (one-time)

Day Cash Pro is available as a one-time purchase (“Buy it for Life”). Payment is processed by Stripe.

• No recurring charges. You pay once and own Pro access forever.
• Refunds. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Emailsupport@day.cash within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked.
• After 30 days, one-time purchases are final.

5. Payment — Day Cash Sync (subscription)

Day Cash Sync is an optional add-on that automatically updates your balances from connected financial institutions. It is offered as a monthly or annual subscription billed through Stripe.

• Billing. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) until cancelled.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@day.cash. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Sync access until then.
• Refunds. We offer a 7-day refund on new Sync subscriptions. After 7 days, subscription charges are final.
• Price changes. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice before changing subscription pricing. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6. Bank sync and financial data

Day Cash Sync connects to your financial institutions through Plaid Technologies, Inc. and/or Teller, third-party data providers. By enabling Bank Sync, you authorize Day Cash and its data providers to access your account information for the purpose of updating your Day Cash projections.

• Data accessed. We retrieve account balances and, for credit cards, statement balances and minimum payment amounts. We do not access, store, or share full account numbers or any other personal financial data beyond what is needed to power your projections.
• Third-party terms. Your use of Bank Sync is also subject to Plaid’s Privacy Policy and, where applicable, Teller’s Privacy Policy.
• Institution coverage. Not all financial institutions are supported. You can check supported institutions at day.cash/institutions.
• Data on cancellation. When you disconnect an institution or cancel your Sync subscription, we delete your stored access credentials. Cached balance data may remain in your account until you delete it manually.

7. Free trial

New accounts receive a 60-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, a one-time purchase is required to continue using the service. Day Cash Sync requires a separate subscription.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Day Cash for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.
• Share, resell, or transfer your account to another person.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any unused portion of your purchase on a pro-rated basis.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of accuracy

Day Cash is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate.

• Projections are estimates only. Day Cash calculates projected balances based on information you enter or sync. These projections may not reflect your actual account balances, pending transactions, or other activity not entered into the app. Do not rely on Day Cash projections as a substitute for reviewing your actual bank or credit card statements.
• Not financial advice. Day Cash is a personal budgeting tool, not a licensed financial advisor, bank, or accounting service. Nothing in the app or on this site constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Always verify important financial information with your financial institution directly.
• Bank sync data. When Bank Sync is enabled, balance data is retrieved from third-party providers (Plaid, Teller) and may be delayed, cached, or incomplete depending on your financial institution. Day Cash is not responsible for inaccuracies in data provided by these third parties.
• No liability for financial decisions. Day Cash LLC is not responsible for any financial decisions, losses, overdrafts, missed payments, or other outcomes that result from your use of or reliance on this app.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Day Cash and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Iowa.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
